Tatsuya did composition and sound design for the introduction movie about Soga shohaku (Japanese painter of the mid-Edo period) for NHK BS’s program “Gokujo Bi No Kyoen“.


This movie features his most impressive masterpiece called “Dragon and Cloud” which is one of the collections by the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, and now exhibited in Tokyo National Museum (March 20 -June 10) .

Tatsuya worked together with creative director Noyiyuki Tanaka for the movie, and took an unique approach by using sounds of Japanese traditional instruments such as Taiko, Syakuhachi, and theatrical voices as often heard in Kabuki. Check out the program aired on May 23th (Wed).

We licensed Tatsuya’s 4 songs to Project8 Films‘ movie “American Idiots” (Director:
Robert Taleghany) due to this summer. Here are the list of the songs.

As to Japan, most of our commercial releases has been used and aired on TV broadcasting, almost EVERYDAY!

Tatsuya’s music “My Jetset” was sync-licensed and used for a fashion magazine ELLE BRAZIL‘s TV commercial. The video is available on ELLE BRAZIL website and Youtube.

Also, this week we had Tatsuya’s 70′s rare groove style track “T’s groove” placed for an American #1 online swimwear boutique called SwimSpot. Check out a series of “Myo Mag’s Top Trends of 2012″ on their Youtube page.

As you might have noticed at the top page, we’re working on developing our Soundcloud page. I knew SC is a very useful platform, but actually haven’t been able to come up with how to match our needs appropriately. And finally I’ve found it! We’ll make several “showcase sets” on SC in accordance with its category or atmosphere/situation so that you can browse and grasp my music catalog/library easily, like we did on the previous version of our website. Which would be not only more flexible for us, but also more accessible for you visitors and clients than the last (rigid) flash format.

Though it’d take more time to fully organize those sets (so we’re still in “secret mode”), I’d like to show my first set “Dark Model (Epic, Futuristic, Dark)” today. Half of these tracks were made in this half of a year, especially in consideration of usage for film/television and trailer. This set could be the edgiest one of our library. I hope you’ll enjoy them, and if you’re interested in licensing these tracks for your media project, feel free to ask us via contact page.

Tatsuya produced music for Shiseido Asia “White Lucent” TV commercial. It is now on air across several Asia countries such as China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, South Korea, Thailand, Singapore, Vietnam, etc. Also available on their product website and Youtube page.
